Cookie settings
1. Necessary cookies — always on
These few cookies make sign-in, security and your cookie choice work. They are set only by GovTorch and are never used for analytics or advertising.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| tr_s | Keeps you signed in. | 14 days after your last visit; deleted when you log out |
| tr_c | Protects the sign-in, sign-up and password forms. | 2 hours |
| gt_consent | Remembers your cookie choice. | 180 days |
2. Analytics cookies — only with your consent
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to see which pages and features are used, so that we can improve GovTorch. We never send your name, e-mail address, company or what you type to Google, and advertising features are switched off.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics: count visits with a random identifier. | 2 years |
Google Analytics is not switched on yet: no analytics cookie is set and nothing is sent to Google, whatever you choose. When we switch it on, it will run only for visitors who accepted analytics.
3. Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time — here or with «Cookie settings» at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw analytics, we stop it and delete its cookies. We ask again after 180 days or when this policy changes. GovTorch uses no advertising or social-media cookies.
